Think back to when you were a kid settling down for bed as your mom or dad dusted off your favorite book. Remember drifting in and out of sleep as the comfort of a familiar voice calmed your heart and mind. That simple memory is what spawned the idea for A New Chapter:Charlotte. In conjunction with local Non-Profit groups, we collect and distribute children’s books to immigrant and refugee families new to the Charlotte area. Most who settle in the Queen City have been forced from their homes with little more than the clothes on their backs. We hope to brighten a child’s day by giving something they can call their own. Our goal is to show families in need a little love one page at a time. Facebook
